I am trying to access "My Worklist" under the "My Action Items" tab but I am unable to access this.

If you are able to see items in your “My Worklist” window, but when you click on a workflow and nothing happens, try the following steps:

  • Users who need to access the workflow worklist from off campus require special security permissions. Contact your departmental security advisor for more information. A list of security advisors by department is available on the Information Technology Web site at https://www.kent.edu/sites/default/files/file/DeptSecAdminList%204-15-19_0.pdf.
  • Once remote access permission is granted, the workflow worklist is available from off-campus locations by utilizing the Kent State University Virtual Private Network (or KSU VPN). Instructions for downloading and installing the KSU VPN are available here.
  • There may be a pop-up blocker setting suppressing the workflow window from opening–it will make it appear as if nothing had happened when an item is clicked.
  • Make sure you have allowed “workflow.kent.edu” and “keys.kent.edu” in your pop-up blocker list.
  • Make sure you do not have Google or Yahoo toolbar(s) installed on your computer.
  • If you are using Internet Explorer version 8.0 – the built-in browser security in its newest version is conflicting with Workflow. The only known work-around for this issue at this time would be use Internet Explorer 7.0 or Mozilla Firefox. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
