  • Campus visit requests
  • Undergraduate catalog questions
  • Ohio residency applications for tuition purposes
  • Questions about regional area receptions
  •  General questions from prospective students about tuition and scholarship/financial assistance

The following is a list of the primary services provided by the Alumni Office:

  • Alumni = Kent State graduate
  • If a graduate wants to reactivate their email account
  • If a graduate wants to become a member of the Alumni Association
  • Questions about Homecoming
  • Questions about becoming a student ambassador

Academic advisors help students with the following:

  • Developing class schedules for upcoming semesters
  • Questions/errors regarding maximum number of credit hours
  • Helping students examine academic goals, values and talents and link to possible majors        
  • Preparing requirement checks       
  • Evaluating transfer credit         
  • Reviewing KAPS reports with students       
  • Interpreting college policies and procedures        
  • Providing support services for students on academic probation       
  • Making appropriate referrals for campus resources, including tutoring services         
  • Helping students process necessary paperwork         
  • Aiding students in applying for graduation        
  • Aiding students in understanding the course catalog, the class schedule and curriculum requirements       
  • Providing instruction for registration activities       
  • Informing students of semester and yearly deadlines
