I am a student that can't access my account at research.kent.edu. What can I do?

Yes, all students, faculty and staff are allocated space to host personal Web content. Supported content includes standard HTML, images and Java script. Server-side scripting, such as asp or php, is not supported.

Although space is available at research.kent.edu to all students, faculty and staff members, accounts may need to be requested if they have not been previously accessed.

Make sure you have done the following:

•    Reset your password from the default and synchronized your accounts.

If you are still unable to access your account, follow the steps below:

•    Go to support.kent.edu
•    Click on “Submit a Ticket”
•    Enter your name and email address as requested
•    Select your campus
•    Select your user type
•    In the detailed description, state that you would like to make sure your web account has been created, state the name of the class and the CRN.  List your userid (your Kent email address up to the “@” sign)
•    For Request Type, select “Login Issue/Account Access/Password Reset”
•    For Login Request, select “research.kent.edu/personal.kent.edu”
•    For Login Request Detail, select “Username/Password Doesn’t Work”

When your request has been completed, you will receive an email solving your ticket.
