Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi

To connect to the Internet, use a compatible Wi-Fi network.

Step 1: Turn on Wi-Fi

  1. Turn on your Chromebook

  2. At the bottom right, select the time.
  3. Select Not Connected

    1. Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.

  4. To turn on Wi-Fi, click the switch

  5. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list

Step 2: Connect to the network

  1. At the bottom right, select the time.

  2. Select Not Connected
        

  3. Select Kent State Wireless

  4. Configure these settings 

    1. SSID - Kent State Wireless 

    2. EAP Method : PEAP

    3. Phase 2 authentication : MSCHAPv2 

    4. Server CA Certificate - Do not check

    5. User Certificate - None installed

    6. Identity: Your Flashline username 

    7. Password : Your Flashline Password

  5. Check the Save identity and password box 

  6. Click Connect
