When I try to scan, I get the “Failed to load a valid scanner. Details: The Cloud Capture Application closed unexpectedly.” error message

If when trying to scan, and you get either of these errors:

error saying "failed to load a valid scanner. Details: The cloud Capture application closed unexpectedly.

 

It is because the Captiva Cloud Capture Application failed to load the scanner.

Click the “Select Scanner” icon > Choose the "Allow" button when asked to "Allow the web application to access the scanner connected to your computer."

Select the appropriate ISIS driver for your scanner and click the “OK” button:
