When I try to attach a PDF to a document, the PDF does not show the document, but instead it shows a little Adobe Acrobat Document icon

If when you are trying to add a PDF in AppXtender, it doesn't show the document, but instead it shows a little Adobe Acrobat Document icon:

It could caused by the way the PDF was created originally. There is a workaround to fix this: Open the original PDF file > Click the 'Print' button to create a new PDF > Save the PDF to a local destination > Add the new PDF that was just created into AppXtender. This will fix the issue.

If this does not fix the issue, then please open a support ticket for assistance:

  1. Go to www.kent.edu/is
  2. Click on "Service & Support Requests"
  3. Click on "Enterprise Applications"
  4. Click on "Submit a Ticket for Assistance with Enterprise Applications"
  5. Click on "Submit a Ticket"
  6. Fill out your information, then under "What do you need help with?", select "Banner Document Imaging (Xtender)"
  7. Please put in the application name (such as ‘B-F-DOCS-KENT’) and any pertinent information (such as batch name) or any error message for which you need assistance under the "Description" section
  8. It's always very helpful to attach a screenshot to fully describe the error; so please do that under "Attachment"
