How do I log into my Career Services (Flash @ Work) account?

To access Flash @ Work – For Jobs & Internships, visit the website https://flash-at-work.kent.edu/ . Log in with your FlashLine username and password.

Frequently asked questions regarding the Experience Job & Internship Board are listed below. If you have additional questions, please contact Career Services at 330-672-2360.

1. What is my FlashLine User Name?

- It’s the first part of your kent.edu email address. If your email address is: jdoe@kent.edu, then your FlashLine User Name is jdoe.

2. What if I can’t remember my password?

- Click here for instructions to change your password.

3. What if I am an alumnus who didn’t have an email address or FlashLine User name?

- You should contact the KSU Alumni Relations Office at 330-672-5368 or 888-320-5368, for assistance. The Alumni Office will verify your graduation and request a FlashLine User name be created for you by KSU IT.

4. What if I had an email address or FlashLine User name but didn’t request to keep it or haven’t used it in a while?

- You should still contact the KSU Alumni Relations Office at 330-672-5368 or 888-320-5368, for assistance. The Alumni Office will verify your graduation and request that your previous FlashLine User name/email be re-activated (if available) by KSU IT for you. You can expect a 2-3 business day turnaround for this process.

5. What if I know my FlashLine login information but still cannot access the Experience Job & Internship Board through the SSO login page?

- You can click on the link “Get Login Help” to view additional information regarding the FlashLine login, or you may call the Helpdesk at 330-672-HELP (4357). You can expect a 2-3 business day turnaround for this process.

6. If I already have an account created, will all of my information be the same? Or do I need to reregister?

- Once you sign into the Experience Job & Internship Board with your FlashLine User name and Password, you will be logged in on your homepage. As long as you used your kent.edu email address in your profile, all of your information will be the same including your resume(s) and other document(s), previous application(s), etc.

7. What if I did not have my kent.edu email address in my profile?

- If your kent.edu email address was not listed in the first email address field, then your account information could not be transitioned and you will need to reregister.

8. What if I have to reregister and the resume I had previously uploaded to the Experience Job & Internship Board is still current and the only copy I have?

- We can retrieve your resume and other documents previously uploaded by request. You should make a written request to cscjobs@kent.edu and your document(s) will be emailed to you. Please allow 1-2 business days for this process.

9. I have the old Experience Job & Internship Board log in page bookmarked. Can I still log in there?

- No, you will not be able to access the Experience Job & Internship Board from the old login page. All students and alumni will need to log in at the new page that requires your FlashLine User name and Password. You should bookmark the new login page: experience.kent.edu.
