My Institution Tab

Logging into Blackboard Learn will open the My Institution tab or homepage that will show Courses, Announcements, Tasks, Tools and any other modules that have been added.

My Institution can be personalized (edit style and color) by clicking “Personalize Page” in the upper right-hand corner.  Modules on the page can be rearranged by dragging and dropping them (by clicking the banner of each module) or use the “Re-order” button (the Up and Down arrows in the upper right-hand corner). Modules can be added by clicking “Add Module” in the upper left-hand corner.


To manage which courses show under My Courses on this page, hover over the banner and a grey gear icon will appear.

Un-check all of the boxes next to the course or courses that should no longer appear on the list.  Drag and drop or use the “Re-order” button (the Up and Down arrows) to rearrange the order in which the courses appear on the list.  Be sure to click the Submit button.

In the example above, the bottom two courses will be hidden because none of the boxes are checked.
