Nothing happens when I click on the hyperlink to open a workflow from my worklist. What should I do?

In FlashLine, if you click on the hyperlink to open a workflow from your worklist and it fails to open, check the following troubleshooting tips:

  • In order to review, approve or access a workflow from your worklist, you must use a Kent State computer on campus or one that is connected to Kent State's network through the university's Virtual Private Network (FortiClient VPN). For instructions on downloading or installing the FortiClient VPN, visit software.kent.edu.
    • Please Note: If off campus, you will need to have additional remote access to Banner permission in order to access Banner, Workflow, and other Administrative systems from an off-campus location. If there is a business need for this, then submit the form Remote Access to Administrative Systems.
  • Verify that you have turned off any pop-up blockers or tool bars in your Internet browser. These may prevent you from accessing your workflow.
  • Log off of FlashLine, and then try accessing the workflow again once you log back in.
